Many extended health benefits plans have coverage for the services of a Registered Social Worker (RSW). I am a licensed Registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Please check your health benefits plan prior to your first counselling session to see if an RSW is part of your insurance plan. If your plan covers counselling services, you will pay for the session in full, and then submit your receipt to your health benefits for reimbursement.
If you cannot attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, the full session fee will be charged.
Please reach me at info@wholenessglow.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Yes! With online counselling, you receive the same excellent counselling service that you would with in-person counselling. Online counselling is just like traditional counselling, only you don’t have to come to an office which makes it convenient and easily accessible.
Yes! Once you are booked for your online counselling session, you will receive an email with a link to a secure online platform. I also offer phone sessions if you would prefer to not have a virtual counselling session. I use an online counselling system that is compliant with Canadian privacy regulations. This means that video, audio, and chat communications cannot be recorded. They are encrypted and none of the data is stored anywhere at any time.
Online counselling sessions are best experienced on a computer or laptop using Chrome or Firefox. If you’re on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad) you will need the Jane Online Appointments app which is available on the app store.
A session is 60 min. Once you book your online appointment you will be prompted to add your credit card information to your client profile. E-transfer is also available.
Perinatal (Pregnancy and Postpartum) Counselling
The perinatal period is a time of profound transition—physically, emotionally, and relationally. For many, it brings significant life changes that can feel overwhelming. This stage of life can also lead to the onset of mental health challenges or amplify existing struggles.
As a therapist with specialized training in maternal mental health, I am Perinatal Mental Health Certified through Postpartum Support International. I offer compassionate support for a range of concerns, including:
Whether you’re adjusting to the demands of pregnancy, processing a difficult birth experience, or navigating the emotions of loss, I provide a safe space to explore your feelings and move toward healing.
Specialized Support for Parents Navigating Prenatal Diagnosis
For parents who have received a cleft lip and/or palate diagnosis for their baby, this time can feel especially overwhelming. You may be dealing with a mix of emotions—shock, sadness, guilt, or fear—while worrying about your baby’s health, feeding challenges, or upcoming medical procedures. I specialize in helping parents process these emotions, manage worry, and find strength and coping skills as they prepare and navigate their unique journey.
Why Counselling?
Counselling can be an invaluable resource during this transformative time. I help parents work through difficult emotions, build resilience, and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we can foster emotional well-being and help you embrace this period of life with greater clarity, calm, and confidence. No matter what challenges you are facing, you don’t have to navigate them alone. Let’s walk this path together.
